Greatest Hits Billboard chart update:

9 9 GUNS N'ROSES GEFFEN 91,052 +1%

The album is at #9, sold over 91000 copies last week, 1% increase.

The album is back at #1 in Norway after being at #4 last week. During its four weeks on the Norwegian album chart, it's been at #1 for three.


Foo Fighters will replace GN'R at the Rock In Rio - Lisbon Festival. You can read an article about it at Yahoo.


November Rain was the number 2 video on MTV's "Top 10 Rock Videos of the 90's". In addition to playing the video, MTV also played a clip from 1990 where Axl talks about the Illusion records.

MOTÖRHEAD's Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister, CARDBOARD VAMPIRES (the new band featuring ex-ALICE IN CHAINS guitarist Jerry Cantrell, ex-THE CULT axeman Billy Duffy and MÖTLEY CRÜE singer John Corabi) and CAMP FREDDY (the Los Angeles-based "jam" band consisting of JANE'S ADDICTION guitarist Dave Navarro, former THE CULT touring bassist Billy Morrison (on guitar), ex-GUNS N' ROSES/THE CULT drummer Matt Sorum, and vocalist Donovan Leitch) were among the performers at the Indie 103.1 FM-sponsored show at the Avalon Theatre in Hollywood, California Tuesday (April 13).
