VELVET REVOLVER: Live Video Posted Online + Gilby To Guest On New HEART Album
A video of VELVET REVOLVER performing the track "Set Me Free" live at El Rey Theatre on June 19 has been posted online in Windows Media format at this location. A studio version of "Set Me Free" is featured on Decca/Universal's soundtrack to "The Hulk" and is slated to appear on the group's forthcoming EP, tentatively due on October 13 through Immortal Records. VELVET REVOLVER feature in their ranks STONE TEMPLE PILOTS singer Scott Weiland and former GUNS N' ROSES members Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum.

Former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Gilby Clarke and ex-ALICE IN CHAINS/OZZY OSBOURNE bassist Mike Inez will be part of the recording lineup for the next HEART studio album, tentatively due in late 2004. The group expect to begin tracking the as-yet-untitled effort in the fall. Clarke and Inez are currently touring with HEART as part of their "Alive In America" concert tour running though early August.
