SLASH Talks Fatherhood + Axl & Slash mention
VELVET REVOLVER guitarist Slash is among the featured artists on a new album called "Sing A Song With Six Strings", which came out yesterday (Oct. 5). Celebrating fatherhood and families, it features previously released tracks from Peter Frampton, Carlos Santana, the late Stevie Ray Vaughan, and the late Carl Perkins, plus never-before-released songs from former STONE TEMPLE PILOTS guitarist Dean DeLeo, LIVING COLOUR's Vernon Reid, MATCHBOX TWENTY's Kyle Cook, and ex-BLACK CROWES guitarist Marc Ford, among others.

Slash's contribution is an instrumental take on "Sing A Song Of Sixpence". The guitarist told Launch Radio Networks how being a father of two small children himself has affected his life: "That was one of the defining moments in my life where I actually turned around and looked at everything from a perspective of sensibility," he said. "So it was right at a time where I'd finally come to terms with myself and sort of had figured out where my goals were. And so I got these great two little kids and I just wanna sort of bring 'em up in sort of the rock and roll fashion, which is how I was born, you know, and raised, and they're great."

There's a small Axl and Slash mention in this article about Duran Duran.
