Axl Rose Fined $500 For Phoenix Incident
Add one more to the list of ongoing court cases that have finally come to a close. Enigmatic Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge of disturbing the peace on Thursday (Feb. 18) in Phoenix Municipal Court.

The singer faced a maximum sentence of six months in jail and a $2500 fine (allstar, Feb. 5), but Judge Michael Lester let him off easy. Rose was slapped with a $500 fine and one day in jail -- which he already served.

The charges stemmed from an incident last year at Phoenix's Sky Harbor Airport when Rose was in an altercation with airport security. -- Mike Magnuson
